4 month check-up

I took Riley for her 4 month check-up on Friday. She got her 2nd round of shots, and of course screamed!! They weighed and measured her.. she's 14lbs. 4oz. & 27 and 1/4 inches long. I asked the doctor this time what her percentiles were (because she's never told me). She is in the 61.3 percentile for weight and 99.8 percentile for height!! Dr. Adesoji said (in her african accent) "She's tall!" I knew she was long but WOW. If she keeps growing at this rate she will be taller than both me and Cody!

Riley's 1st Easter

This is her Easter basket. The candy is for Cody & the teethers and the Care Bear are for Riley. I got her the Care Bear because when i say 'Bear Bear' to Riley everyone thinks i'm saying 'Care Bear'.

She looked super thrilled this morning when i wanted to take MORE PICTURES. She's rebeling already!

She tried out the new teether. I think she's too young for it because she sucked on it like a paci. We forgot to get a good picture of her in her "Easter dress" so this is kinda a picture of it. Just know she looked cute!

The hunt

Today we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at church. I think she had fun even though she's not enough to do much!

Momma made a boo-boo :(

I meant to put this up here a long time ago.. I was trying to clip Riley's fingernails one afternoon and in the middle of it she woke up. I had already cut off half of a nail so i couldn't just leave it like that. She would scratch her face up even more! Well if you've ever met Riley you know how much she moves her arms and legs, so this was not going to be an easy task. So i attempted to clip the rest of it off and i got some of her finger instead!!! It was horrible! I felt so so so bad. And because she sticks her hands in her mouth all the time, i had to put a sock over her hand so she wouldn't swallow the band-aid. She looked so pitiful! See...
